As of September 7th, Kaitlin turned 4 months old. She is just a doll and brings smiles and cheer to our home every day. She is so laid back and loves taking in the world around her. The last couple of weeks she has begun to realize when she is being ignored and becoming more desirous of being held and apart of what we are doing.
She absolutely loves when Abigail interacts with her and brings her toys. Abigail is such a great big sister still and is growing more thoughtful of Kaitlin as she talks to her, shows her things in the room, shares her dolly with her, etc...
Although we are not starting her on solids this month, I did allow Kaitlin to suck on a banana the other day and she was quiet taken with it, however quickly tired of it. I'm actually thankful for that because it shows me that she's not ready for food yet.
Kaitlin is doing great with holding her head up and can sit on my hip now as we walk around the apt. She rolls from tummy to back but still hasn't mastered back to tummy, although she is close!
Pulling teethers and toys to her mouth to chew on is very common for her these days. I'm just waiting to see teeth coming through her gums.
We are so blessed by these two little beauties!
She is growing so fast!!! Looking so forward to seeing her this fall!!!
