Play Date

Today we enjoyed babysitting one of Abigail and Kaitlin's sweet little friends, Anna Kate. She was such a joy to have in our home and Abigail thoroughly enjoyed playing with her!

Watching a little Winnie the Pooh and eating a snack after naptime.

Such a cutie!

"May I have your snack?"

"num, num, num"

"Was your snack as yummy as mine?"

Tea Time!

Two little princesses all dressed up with jewelry!

Fun tea pot!

Just precious!

Spin...spin...spin...

Just too adorable!

Bloomington Trip Day Four

In Bloomington they have a super fun water splash park that is open Friday-Sunday. I was quite impressed with how nice and clean it was. There was also a great big park attached to it. If I had been a kid this would have been one of my all-time favorite places to spend my summer days!

It was a beautiful day to be outside!

Abigail loved all the water!!!

Spraying the water!

Even Kaitlin got to be apart of the water!

Anna and Jack having fun!

Eliot and Jack playing in the water.

Getting wet!

Brandon and Anna

Sweet Elissa!

Abigail playing at the park.

Sliding down a big, hot slide!

Jack climbing up the rock wall.
After naps that afternoon, we ran out to Starbucks to take advantage of their free iced green tea promotion. Even the kids enjoyed free drinks!

Then we stopped by their Goodwill to browse their clothing.

Abigail fell in love with a little beauty salon set and spent a while playing at it. She's pretending to be like her Mimi who cuts and styles hair! ;-)

Elissa, Jack, and Eliot enjoyed trying on fun hats.

Cute little Jack!!

The girls crashing on the couch after a long day of playing and watching some Curious George.

Kyle crashed on a chair with their dog Violet. Such an adorable picture!! :-)
Saturday morning we packed up and headed home to Kentucky. We had a fabulous time with our sweet friends and can't wait for our next visit to see them!

Abigail and Jack played "peek-a-boo" in the closet while we packed.

Jack gave Kaitlin sweet kisses.

She liked all of the attention from everyone! :-)

Here is Abigail showing Jack how to snap himself in her booster seat. Haha! Such a little mother hen! :-)
The Chasteens were terrific hosts! Any family who can handle another family staying with them for a whole week deserves applause! ;-) I loved the hubbub of a full house, though crazy at times! It makes me excited to see our kids playing with other children and it grows my excitement and prayerful anticipation for when the Lord blesses us with many more children, Lord-willing, in the future!
Anna and Brandon, thanks for letting us be apart of your family for a week. You blessed our family tremendously!

Bloomington Trip Day Three

Thursday morning we packed up a picnic lunch and headed to Nashville, Indiana. It's a charming little town with lots of little cute shops in their downtown.

Abigail and Elissa enjoying our picnic.

Jack and Abigail in a stroller.

What trip is complete without a special treat? :-)

Abigail and Jack holding hands on the way home. Hehe..

Jack being silly.

Eliot and I in the backseat with Kaitlin (who was a little fussy from a long morning).

That afternoon while the little kids napped, we prepared for more friends to come join us for dinner. A fun fact is that Brandon's younger brother Jeremy, just married Anna's younger sister, Leah. They both recently moved from Texas to Indiana as well. So they came over a couple evenings while we were there and hung out.

The men cooked up some amazing goodness...

...while Anna prepared food inside.

Don't you just love her great big kitchen? I know I sure did!! :-)

Abigail busied herself with playing with their "oof oof" Violet (a.k.a. running around behind her trying to grab her! Haha)
