Being a mommy of two does not seem to afford much time for blogging these days, however, I've decided that if I can just post pictures and short blog posts from my phone, then at least I can try to keep everyone current on our family.
Oh, and for those of you awaiting our birth story, it's still coming! It's just half written on my computer. Haha... As soon as I have time to complete it, I'll post it up! :-)
Our days are mainly spent doing early walks outside in the morning, before it gets super hot, snacks (and lots of them!! Abigail seems to have a hole in her leg. Must be a growth spurt!), sometimes playing with little neighbor friends, swimming at the pool in the evening with Daddy, mealtimes, etc... Each day is different but each day stays busy. There are lots of moments spent in-between those big things doing training, correction, and shaping of a little girl's heart and attitudes! (And this Mommy's heart and attitudes!) It's amazing how an entire day can seem to be nothing but "correcting and instructing"!! We are so thankful though for Abigail's sweet spirit and zeal for life. This kiddo has SO much personality wrapped up in her little body. She just overflows in smiles and sweet kisses for her "Sis"!
Yesterday, I was playing with her in her room and decided to put Kaitlin in a little wooden doll crib that was mine from childhood and that my parents just brought up from Texas for the girls to play with. She just barely fits now but was so cute and Abigail just loved it! Here are a few cute pictures of the girls "playing together":
Sweet baby Kaitlin! She seemed to enjoy the doll crib!
Abigail giving Sissy her paci.
She took it!
Rocking Sissy
Kaitlin enjoying all of the attention.
Abigail sitting in the crib asking to hold Kaitlin. I just love how she holds her arms out like this when she wants to hold her! So precious!
Sweet big sister!
"Cheese"
So much sister-love in this picture!!! Best friends already!
Some people think the girls look a lot alike, but I think they look so different! Haha... Maybe it's just the Momma in me seeing their own uniqueness.
Abigail wanted a turn to lay down in the crib...
Just a tad too big!
I just love these days!!
